Steve Austin Rejects JR For Hall Of Fame Induction

As announced last night on Raw, Steve Austin is the first Superstar announced for this year's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

WWE thought Jim Ross would be the perfect person to induct Austin into the Hall of Fame, but he requested and pushed for Ric Flair to induct him instead

Scott Steiner Serious Physical Injury

Scott Steiner is said to be in pretty rough shape, but then again he has been that way since the final year of WCW. There was a point in time where he would warm up for a full hour before going out for a match, and another time when after a 10 minute match he couldn't pick up a napkin he dropped in a hotel, but when he finally did manage to get down on one knee to pick it up he grabbed his back and had to lie down on a couch to relieve the pain.

Steiner’s days in the ring may be numbered, as he had made it clear to friends he has no interest in appearing on camera if he looks feeble or injured. He was once working through back pain so bad that he couldn’t do any flat-back bumps and had to fall to his side or to his knees, and explain later to the wrestlers that he wasn’t trying to no-sell their moves but he simply couldn’t do the back bumps

TNA Insist Christy Hemme Injuries Real

TNA sources insist Christy Hemme's neck injury is legitimate and not an angle. Taylor Wilde will likely be her replacement at tonight's pay-per-view in the title match against Awesome Kong. However, Hemme appeared at the K&S Wrestlefest wrestling convention in New Jersey yesterday in good spirits and showing no sign of injury.

Christy Hemme posted a blog on her MySpace account (www.myspace.com/hemmepowered) saying her neck injury is indeed true and not a work. She has two herniated disks in her neck which will require surgery, but she's looking into an alternative solution that could get her in the ring a lot sooner. While training hard in the ring one day, AJ Styles saw Hemme in a lot of pain and told her they wouldn't continue training until she got checked out by a doctor

Big Vito Announces European Tour Schedule

Coming off his MMA debut victory, Big Vito explodes onto the European wrestling scene. The "Toughest Man to Ever Wear a Dress" will return to entertain fans but no one can predict which persona he is bringing to the squared circle. Is it going to be the "Dress" or is he returning to the rough, tough, bad boy style of his Italian heritage?

Given that Vito is a former Iron Man Champion of the Hannover Tournament, the very prestigious title that has also been held by many other famous European wrestlers, this should be an interesting start in Germany working for German Stampede Wrestling (GSW

Natalya Nattie Neidhart

It only seems natural that Nattie Neidhart's life would revolve around the ring. Neidhart, a member of Calgary's famous Hart wrestling family, is making a name--or two--for herself in World Wrestling Entertainment.

She's known as Natalya now (her slogan: Natalya by Nature, Naughty by Choice), though she was once Nasty Nattie. Pro Wrestling Illustrated has placed her 19th in its top 50 female rankings for 2008
