WWE Raw – North Carolina State University

The show kicked off with Shane and Stephanie McMahon again asking the Raw Superstars to pull together as their father’s recovery continues.

To live action suddenly, we see Shawn Michaels beating on Chris Jericho. As they fought, down came Lance Cade to drag Jericho away. Security then escorted Michaels away from ringside.
Next Kane came out and went to apologize to Jerry The King Lawler and Michael Cole. He was carrying something in a canvas bag.
To the back where Michaels, Cade, and Jericho were fighting again.

To the ring. . .
WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James vs. Katie Lea Burchill accompanied by Paul Burchill

Katie Lea controlled most of the match but Mickie James turned it around and got the pin.

Winner: Mickie James

After the match as they were about to fight again, Paul Burchill grabbed Mickie from behind and held her arms. She landed a couple of shots to Mickie’s face. Then Kofi Kingston came out to save her. As soon as they saw him they went running. Kofi laid out his Intercontinental Title in the ring and told him he could have a title match right now.

After the break…
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Paul Burchill

Mickie James stayed out in Kofi’s corner. It was a good thing too. As Kofi took control of the match, and hit the Boom Boom Boom, Katie Lea climbed up on the ring apron, but before she could do anything Mickie was over there to pull her down and then hit a clothesline. Meanwhile back in the ring Kofi hit the Trouble In Paradise spinning kick, and got the pin.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston

To the back with Santino Marella talking to Matt Striker. He told him how he issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room for a match tonight. He thinks that if he beats someone that no one will remember him getting beat by Rey Mysterio last week. Striker eventually walks away after motioning that someone was behind Santino. It was Kane and he was looking for Punk, and still carrying whatever it is in the canvas bag. Santino got very nervous and sent Kane to the locker room. After Kane walked off Santino grabbed a bottle of Tums and swallowed about half of it down.

Back from the break…
Kane has found Punk. He says “deep down inside, I know he is dead.” He then says he needs to face Punk in the ring tonight. Punk agrees so he can prove he deserves to be champion. Punk then asked Kane what was with the bag, and Kane just smiled and walked off.

To the back for an interview with Todd Grisham and John Cena. JBL has challenged Cena to a New York City Parking Lot Brawl. Cena goes on and on and then accepts the match just because he hates JBL so much, then he went on some more. He said that for tonight he has a challenge of his own, in walks Cryme Tyme. Cena challenges JBL to get any two guys, and come to the ring for a six-man tag match.

Back from the break…
Santino is now in the ring with a microphone. He says he “is very curious to see who has the canoles to accept his challenge.” Out came Beth Pheonix!

Santino Marella vs. Beth Pheonix

Beth Pheonix image
Beth Pheonix surprises Santino.
The match started off with Santino not being able to overpower her. He then flexed for her, she didn’t like it and flexed for him. He would then tackle her, but she turned it around and got on top of him. Pheonix was about to punch Santino, but he started petting her arm. She paused and then unleashed a round of punches to Santino’s face. Santino got her in a side headlock, but Pheonix picked him up and hit an atomic drop. She then picked him up and hit a bodyslam. When she tried to whip him into the corner he blocked it and yelled out, “I am a man!”, and whipped her into the corner instead. He charged into the corner, but she moved and he crashed into the corner. She came up behind him and rolled him up for the pin, and got the three count.

Winner: Beth Pheonix

I wonder if next week he will face Hornswaggle and lose.
Before we head to commercial we see Kelly Kelly in the back stretching and preparing for her match.

After the break…
Out came Kelly Kelly. As she waited for her opponent music started to play, but it wasn’t her opponent’s music, it was the Tag Team Champions music. Out came Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. They took Lillian’s mic and told her and Kelly Kelly to leave the ring. As they rambled on about not having to pay dues and how in ten years they will just then be entering their prime. Hacksaw Jim Duggan then interrupted and came out in wrestling gear. He wanted to talk to them about respecting the people who paved the way for them, and that they need to do a lot of growing up. He then turned to walk away, but Cody stopped him and said let’s talk about this. They then put Hacksaw down again and again, and told him how he was washed up. They then began walking up the ramp, leaving Hacksaw in the ring. JBL appeared on the Titantron to ask them if they would be his tag team partners tonight. Giving them the chance to be the main event on Raw. Their reaction seemed to say yes they would do it, but we won’t know for sure till later.

Back from the break…
Kane vs. World Heavyweight Champion C.M. Punk

The match was going back and forth, but then at some point Kane seemed to snap again. From that point on he began to dominate the match. Punk would turn it back around with repeated punches and kicks, which led to a couple of near falls. Punk then tried to pick Kane up for the GTS, but he blocked it, and went for the chokeslam. Punk blocked it with a kick, then Kane through him over the top rope to the ring apron. Punk was going to try something, but before he could Kane shoved him to the floor. Kane went out after him, Kane’s head would be rammed into the steel ring post, and Punk followed it up with a flying bulldog. Punk rolled back in the ring before the ten count.

Winner via countout: C.M. Punk

Kane snapped yet again and started throwing chairs into the ring. He then went into the ring and beat Punk down. Then he put Punk’s head inside the chair and climbed to the top rope. Before he could do anything Batista came running down to save Punk. He hit Kane with the chair a couple of times, and then went to help Punk up and check on him. After asking a couple times if he was alright, and Punk saying yes, Punk reached out his hand to say thank you. Batista said to him, I am not your friend, I am just making sure you are ok for Sunday. He then lightly tapped him on his cheek with his hand. Punk told him to never touch him again. Batista responded by grabbing him and hitting him with a Spinebuster.

Back from the break…
Chris Jericho accompanied by Lance Cade vs. Paul London

Cade stood outside the ring holding a chair and watching for Shawn Michaels. The match wasn’t very good. Jericho slapped on the Walls of Jericho, and London submitted.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Jericho grabbed a mic and went on about how London needs to choose a path for his career, one like his or one like HBK’s. This is when Michaels came out. He went on a bit and end his comments with how this Sunday at The Great American Bash that the worst is yet to come for Jericho.

Back from the break…
In the back with Jamie Noble trying to “hookup” with Leyla. He says how the next guy that comes past them he is going to take to the ring and break him down to prove why Jamie Noble is the man on Monday night Raw. In walked Snitski to complain about all the noise Noble is making. Noble apologizes and Snitski walks away. Leyla asked if that is how he is going to prove it to her, and he said fine, and called Snitski back over and started insulting him. They then headed to the ring. There was no referee so Snitski just beat him around for a bit till he got bored with him and left.

After the break…
John Cena & Cryme Tyme vs. JBL, and Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase

This was a pretty good match, mostly because of Cryme Tyme and Ted DiBiase. Cena took control late in the match, dominating DiBiase and Rhodes. He hit DiBiase with the FU, then hit Rhodes with a Guillotine Leg Drop from the top rope, and slapped on the STFU. JBL came in to break up the pin and was disqualified. JBL then stood at the top of the ramp trying to get Cena to chase him. Cena followed him to the back and down a hallway to a door. He paused and then followed him through the door. He looked around but there was no one in sight. He was now in the parking lot though, and since they have a parking lotbrawl on Sunday you just knew JBL was lurking somewhere. Suddenly he came out and hit Cena with a tire iron. He then sat Cena leaning against a car and walked off. He got in another car and drove it towards where Cena was and crashed into the other car. This gave the impression that Cena was crushed between the cars.

Well we had six matches this week, but the majority of them were not very good at all. We can eliminate the match between Jericho and London so that puts us at five. The main event although a decent match was just a setup for the ridiculous ending to the show. The only good that might come from it is that it might set up a series of matches between Cryme Tyme and Rhodes – DiBiase. The Beth Pheonix beating Santino Marella match was fun, within a show that didn’t have much else to offer.

WWE Raw – New Orleans, Louisiana

The show started with Stephanie McMahon begging everyone to work together in this time of uncertainty, while her father is gone.

Out to a darkened ring where we hear Vickie Guerrero’s voice. The Raw crowd won’t let her talk anymore than the Smackdown audience does. She apparently is here to protest C.M. Punk winning the belt, and she wasn’t leaving the ring until he surrendered the belt to her.
Out came Punk. Vickie points out how he took advantage of Edge, and how he is having a nervous breakdown. She went on to say how Punk has ruined her life. He starts off by saying there are plenty of other Smackdown Superstars that would marry her just to be put in a position of power like Edge. The Great Khali, “you could honeymoon in New Delhi”. Vickie rose out of her wheelchair to slap Punk across the face. As he pushed her chair to the corner to get her out of the ring, out came JBL. Surprise, surprise, he wants another title shot. As they debated why he did and didn’t deserve another title shot JBL was about to mention John Cena, but before he could, out came Cena. After congratulating Punk, and ranting for a bit Cena points out how no one is in charge. With the pay-per-view coming up in two weeks, Cena suggests the two of them have a match to determine Punk’s opponent at The Great American Bash. On came Batista’s music, guess it is about to become a Triple Threat match. First he congratulated Punk, then he turned his attention to Vickie to tell her to go back to Smackdown. By the time he was about to get to his point on how it was due to him that Punk won the belt JBL interrupted. Cena stopped Batista from hitting JBL, and offered up the idea of a triple threat, JBL didn’t like that idea. Before it was settled though out came the Big Red Machine, Kane. Must be a Fatal Four-Way now! So it did become a Fatal Four-Way to determine the #1 contender.

Now onto the first match of the night, which got underway 28 minutes into the show.

Rey Mysterio in his Raw debut vs. Santino Marella
It was an OK match for his debut on Monday nights. He finished it off with his normal flurry of moves. A springboard sit-out splash onto Santino’s chest, followed by a 6-1-9. Then he went to the top rope for a big splash, and got the three count.

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Back from the break…
Todd Grisham is interviewing Punk. While he was talking a light fell in front of him. They moved on, and Snitsky came out to complain about Punk getting a title shot so quickly. Punk gave him a match later in the night.
Then to John Cena talking with Mickie James, in walks Kelly Kelly to say their match is next.

After the break…
Jillian is in the ring singing, with her partner Leyla standing by and watching. Luckily Kelly Kelly’s music interrupted her.

Mickie James & Kelly Kelly vs. Jillian Hall & Leyla

WWE Women's Champion Mickie James image
WWW Women's Champion, Mickie James
Mickie and Kelly controlled the match early on. Michael Cole was finally the first one to point out what I have been saying for weeks now, how Kelly is one of the most improved wrestlers on the WWE roster. Leyla shoved Kelly off the ring apron which turned things around for a bit. Kelly Kelly perservered though and hit a Victory Roll and got the pin.

Winners: Kelly Kelly and Mickie James

Before they were done celebrating in the ring JBL’s music came on and his limo drove out, but the chauffeur then left as we went to commercial.

Back from the break…
JBL came walking out from the back. He wasn’t in the limo. He looked puzzled as he walked around the limo. He checked the doors, and they were locked, but then John Cena climbed out of the back seat of the car. Cena points out how there is a Louisiana law against limos, but for JBL’s protection, he knows two guys that can get fix cars quick. Out came Cryme Tyme from the other side of the limo, both carrying baseball bats, while Cena had a crowbar. They backed JBL back up the ramp. Cena went on to explain how it was the law that a limo must have a passenger side mirror. JTG removes the mirror with the bat. Cena then says a limo must have a ventilated windshield. Shad smashed in the windshield. Cena then said how the tint job on the windows was illegal. So both members of Cryme Tyme took care of this one, taking turns smashing in each window. Cena then went on about how “every Buford T. Justice in Louisiana was going to be on the lookout for a white limo that was not up to code,” so Cryme Tyme was going to supply him with a brand new custom paint job. The limo now had “Yo! Yo! Yo!” down the side, “JBL is Poopy” across the hood, and a few other things.

After the break…
Snitsky vs. C.M. Punk

It was no surprise that the new champion dominated most of the match. The GTS did look a bit awkward when he performed it on someone as big as Snitsky.

Winner: C.M. Punk

Back from the break…
Shawn Michaels comes out to address Chris Jericho. He started off by accepting Jericho’s challenge for a match at the Great American Bash. Out came Jericho, shadowed by his new best friend Lance Cade. Jericho went on and on for awhile. After Jericho says how he is afraid that he would be forgotten if he didn’t go out and wrestle even if he is too hurt to. Right then Shawn realized that’s what Jericho’s problem was. He didn’t like how Shawn Michaels will be remembered forever even if he stopped wrestling today. Michaels goes on to say how all of Jericho’s accomplishments, and no matter what else he might achieve in his career, he will never be him(Michaels).

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Charlie Haas (Non-title match)

Not a very good match. Kingston hit the Boom Boom Boom move, then the Trouble in Paradise spinning heel kick, and got the pin.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

Out came Paul Burchill to attack Kofi from behind.

Back from the break…
Fatal Four-Way to decide the #1 contender.

JBL vs. Kane vs. John Cena vs. Batista

It was a pretty good four-way match. Started of the usual way, with one guy stopping another guy’s rally as he is pounding on a third one. Nearing the end of the match it got a bit better. Cena was going for the STFU, but Kane bent down and wrapped his hand around his throat, setting him up for the chokeslam. Once he had Cena in a standing position JBL moved in, Kane set him up too, now going for a double chokeslam. They reversed it though and whipped Kane into the ropes and hitting a double shoulder tackle on him. They immediately began hitting one another after that. This whole time Batista was recuperating on the mat. Cena and JBL went to the outside. Batista set Kane up for a Batista Bomb, but Kane countered and sent him into the steel ring post shoulder first. Meanwhile on the outside JBL was using the stairs to hit Cena. Kane came out and sent JBL into the crowd. Kane then climbed to the top rope to try a flying clothesline, but Batista dove out of the way. As Kane charged at him Batista hit him with a spear and got the three count.

Winner and new #1 contender Batista

Kane back in the ring was not very happy. He climbed out of the ring, knocked over the other set of steps. He then turned to the announce table and yelled “Is he alive or dead?” Since he mumbled it the first time he turned and said it again. He then kicked one of the staff guys in the face, went after Lillian Garcia, then laid out another guy. He turned back to the announce table and asked again, but this time he grabbed Michael Cole and rolled him into the ring. As Kane was about to chokeslam Cole, the King came in from behind to save him. He hit Kane with a chop block to the knee, nothing too bad just enough to stop him from finishing the move. The King then got Cole out of the ring, Kane grabbed Lawler from behind and started beating on him.

Well, we are back to just five matches in the entire two hour show. It took 20 minutes at the start just to set up the main event match. Not a really good show. The Rey debut was nice, but not a very good match in general.

Seeing Mickie James and Kelly Kelly wrestle was fun, they have both improved vastly. Now if only they could get the competition to improve also.

The answer to fixing the second level of wrestlers is NOT Charlie Haas, or even Paul Burchill, no matter how much they try to make it that way. Kofi Kingston is a good start, now he just needs competition on the same level. Once he is done with a Burchill feud which seems eminent now, maybe they could give Carlito some work in matches with him. That could get interesting, at least moreso than Haas or Burchill.

The Fatal Four-Way wasn’t bad, could have been made better if JBL was out of the title hunt. The outcome was nice, Batista vs. Punk should be a fun match. Even if it does cut short Punk’s title reign.

Kane’s tirade at the end was a bit strung out and odd, but on the Brightside it means the return of The Undertaker for a farewell tour is just around the corner. I have a hunch he will be back soon on Raw to start the tour. Possibly tagging up with Kane and winning the belts for a couple months, but mainly in singles matches leading up to Wrestlemania in Houston where he will keep his undefeated streak in tact and retire that Monday on Raw with a big celebration.

WWE Raw Wrap Up 6-16-08

June 19th 2008 14:06
Raw – Salt Lake City, Utah

The show started off with John Cena coming down to the ring, a much better start than Vickie Guerrero in the ring all the time. He worked the crowd into a frenzy by reminiscing about moments that stay stuck in WWE fans memories forever, and went on to say how there will be another moment like that at Night of Champions during his match with Triple H. Triple H headed down to the ring at this point. He was upset because Cena cost him his match with Jeff Hardy last week, and wanted to give him a warning to stay out of his business. After a lot of talk Cena shoved Triple H, but before they could go any further Mr. McMahon came out to stop them. He then told Cena he was in a match right now with Umaga. Not just a normal match, but a street fight. Triple H left the ring after wishing him good luck and telling him not to get hurt.

John Cena vs. Umaga

Cena jumped him as soon as he was in the ring, but Umaga connected with a thrust to the throat. Cena tried turning it around and picked up Umaga for a slam, but couldn’t hold him up, Umaga got a two-count. After the break… They are fighting up the ramp, and just when Cena was coming back he charged at Umaga and was hit with a Samoan Drop. He then dragged him back to ringside by the arm, and sat him up against the steel ring post. He then charged in, but Cena moved and he crashed back first into the post. Cena then rammed his back into the ring barrier, then into the edge of the ring. He grabbed a mic and hit him over the head with it. Cena then climbed to the top rope and as he jumped down Umaga caught him and hit a Sidewalk Slam. Umaga took over again using his power. He then stepped out of the ring to tear off the top of the announce table, but change his mind and grabbed a chair instead. He slid it into the ring and then climbed back in. Cena picked up the chair and jabbed it into Umaga’s ribs. He went to the top rope again, only this time he connected with a Guillotine Leg Drop. Cena then picked up the Samoan Bulldozer for the FU, but again couldn’t hold him up. This time he fell forward, smashing his head into the mat with Umaga’s weight on top, and then rolled out to the floor. Umaga followed him out and whipped him into the stairs, and then rolled him back into the ring for a two-count. Umaga went back out to get the steps and throw them into the ring. He picked them up, but as he charged in Cena ducked and got him back up for the FU. This time he hit it and the three count.

Winner: John Cena

Time for the Summertime Bikini Beach Blowout, basically a bikini contest between the Divas. The contestants Maria, Eve Torres, Jillian Hall, Leyla, Lena Yada, Maryse, and Melina. Our host for some reason is Charlie Haas. When it was Jillian’s turn she grabbed the mic and said she came to sing. Luckily after 4 words Haas took the mic back. Maria was the overwhelming winner based on crowd noise.

Time for more Millions.

Back from the break…

Jericho is in the back getting oiled up. They review the whole situation between him and Shawn Michaels.

More of the Millions.

After the break…

Jeff Hardy vs. Carlito

Hardy pulled down the top rope to send a charging Carlito out to the floor, and then launched himself out onto him. Hardy rolled Carlito back into the ring then got up on the ring apron, hit a shoulder to the mid-section, but was then hung up on the top rope. Carlito grabbed him in a front face lock with Hardy’s feet still up on the ropes, he spun him in a sort of neck breaker type move to bring him all the way back in the ring. Got a two-count as Hardy grabbed the bottom rope. Hardy tried to fight back, but was shutdown again with a dropkick and another two-count. He then slapped a rear chin lock, Hardy battled out, but was throw to the mat and hit with a knee drop. He got another near fall after a reverse elbow smash. Hardy was finally fighting back and went for the Twist of Fate, but was shoved off into the corner. Carlito picked up from behind and sat him on top of the turnbuckle, and then hung him on the Tree of Woe. He charged in with a dropkick, but Hardy pulled himself up. Carlito did manage to stop himself before he slid all the way to the ring post. Hardy climbed to top of the ropes and came off with the Whisper in the Wind, and got a two-count of his own. He then his a facebuster, and went back to the top rope, but Carlito came charging in at him as Hardy leaped up and over him. Carlito went for the Backstabber, but Hardy blocked it, and hit the Twist of Fate, followed by a Swanton Bomb and got the three count.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Time for more Millions.

Out came Jericho with a mic to talk more about Shawn Michaels and how people everywhere have been looking at him different since last week. Then they had to replay the video from last week, again, even though they did it about 10 minutes ago. Jericho’s conversion to heel is now complete. He demanded that Shawn come down to the ring right now, then called him a bunch of names when he didn’t. After a few too many names out came Ric Flair, and into a commercial we went. Back from the break… Flair said he can’t wrestle him anymore cause he is retired, but he can fight him in the parking lot right now. They head to the back, Flair heads out one door, Jericho pauses and then opens the door next to that one. He is met with Triple H standing nose to nose with him. They talked a bit and then we went to another break. After the break Flair and Triple H are in the back talking, and up walks McMahon to have Flair escorted from the building by security. After Flair was gone McMahon made the one on one match between Triple H and Jericho for later in the show.
Back in the ring…

WWE Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes vs. Cryme Tyme

I was happy when Cryme Tyme got airtime for the second straight week, but then the match started, umm, I mean ended. JTG and Holly were in the ring to start the match. Before they could though, JTG spotted Ted DiBiase walking down the ramp. Holly took advantage and rolled him up from behind for the three count.

Winners: Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes

Time for even more Millions…
Back from the break…

Paul Burchill & Katie Lea vs. Mr. Kennedy & WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James

This match was not very exciting, Kennedy and Burchill fought back and forth for a bit. Katie Lea tagged herself in and ran towards Kennedy. She then raised her hand to slap him again, but Mickie came in and delivered a slap of her own on Katie Lea. There was then a bit of a brawl, followed by a clothesline from Mickie, a neckbreaker, and a dropkick. IT was only good for a two-count. Mickie went to the top rope but before she got there Burchill was over to stop her, Kennedy charged at him and speared him off the ring apron. Mickie jumped off, Katie Lea moved, and Mickie landed on her feet. Katie grabbed her by the hair from behind and hit a backbreaker across her knee and got the three count.

Winners: Paul Burchill & Katie Lea

More Millions.

After the break… More Millions!

To the back to see Cena tell Triple H to not get hurt in the ring tonight.

After the break…More Millions!

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho

They fought back and forth a bit, Jericho charged Triple H in the corner, but the Game moved and he hit the steel ring post with his shoulder. Time for another commercial break… Jericho has taken control now. He rammed Triple H’s head into the steel ring steps, then back into the ring. Triple H turned it around with a running clothesline followed by some punches, and a high knee to the face. He would then go for his knee lift that leads to the Pedigreee, but Jericho avoided it and grab his legs out from under him, and almost got him turned into the Walls of Jericho, but the Game kicked him off into the corner. He then hit a spinebuster and waited for him to get up. He attempted to set him up for the Pedigree, but Jericho reversed it and then hit a Bulldog. Jericho then hit the ropes for the Lionsault, but Triple H moved out of the way. He then blocked another Pedigree, and hit a back body drop. The Game was now standing on the ring apron, and Jericho tried to slingshot himself over the top rope and onto him, but he ducked. This sent Jericho crashing to the floor. As they fought on the floor Lance Cade came out and attacked Triple H from behind. They put him back in the ring and continued to beat on him, but then out came John Cena to clear the ring. Once Jericho and Cade were out of the ring, Triple H tackled him and they fought back and forth. Then Jericho and Cade came back in. Cade hit a Power Bomb on Cena, and Jericho hit the Codebreaker on Triple H. They then stood in the ring and celebrated.

Winner via disqualification: Triple H

Final tally: Five matches (if you count the 10 second tag match with Cryme Tyme) – Seven McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania segments. McMahon's statement has never been truer, it was all about the money. Match of the night, well I am going to say one they didn’t have. There really wasn’t a good match. I like the idea of giving away a million dollars each week, even more so if he would just call me, but five matches for what was probably a total of less than half an hour of action is a bit ridiculous.

Tune in next week for another round of McMahon’s Million Dollar Mania, and the Draft on a special three hour episode of Raw that will have 43.3 minutes of wrestling.

McMahon's Million Dollar Mania - Week 2

This week's password was: Watch Raw & Win

As he started dialing it was apparent that someone finally pointed out that he has to cover up the sound of the dialing since each number has a distinct sound in a distinct key.

The first winner was 15 year old Denzel Parker of Virginia Beach, VA who won $125,000. He asked Denzel what his favorite animal is, he said dog, and Mr. McMahon asked him to bark like a dog. He did, but the phone broke up. Parker said he planned to give a little to the church, take his mom on a shopping spree, get the new Smackdown! vs. Raw video game, and be in the front row of the next Virginia Beach show.

The next winner is Michael Leyva of Monroe, NC. He wins $100,000. McMahon asks who is the most handsome and most well-known individual to be born in North Carolina. Mike's answer is Ric Flair, not the answer he wanted to hear since he was born in NC. Leyva is a lightbulb salesman who expects to pay off some bills and maybe even his house that he purchased three months ago.

Out came Hacksaw Jim Duggan to help him, complete with tux, and 2X4 in tux. Hacksaw dialed, and when the other end of the line answered it was the guy's machine! McMahon took great pleasure in leaving a message that he could have won, but lost out cause he wasn't watching Raw.

They dialed again and got a DX recording. What is with all these people that have to have a musical recording answer their phone before they get to it? Jesse Jordan of Bethel, Ohio won $50,000. Jesse said he had two words for McMahon, but was stopped, and instead he had him do his impression of Hacksaw. Jordan is a 32 year old financial consultant who will help out his mom with some of the money. He also wants to see some pay-per-views, live events, and a Billy Joel concert.

Kyle Mathisen of Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. He made Kyle sing the National Anthem, and then told him he won $175,000. Kyle wanted to say something, but McMahon wasn't going to let him, but he managed to get it out before he hung up on him. Apparently Night of Champions is on Kyle's birthday. It was appropriate that he had to sing the Anthem, Kyle is a 26 year old disabled Navy vet who has been a fan since the age of three. He plans to pay off all his credit cards, his house, and loan some money to a friend.

The next winner is Becky Carmon of Advance, North Carolina. In honor of Ric Flair being the 16-time World Champion, Becky wins $16. The 55 year old airplane parts inspector plans to frame her winnings.

The next winner was Alana Ayres of Westmont, Illinois who was overjoyed to get the call. When asked about all the superstars she has ever seen, who was the most handsome. Before he could finish the question she was sucking up and answering that he was. She won $174,984 to even out the amount left.Alana is a 23 year old college student that plans to buy her mom a new car as well as pay for her college education.

After the break...

The winner this time is Peter Mauer of Bloomville, New York. He won $75,000. Mauer won’t only be expecting his $75,000, he is also expecting a new baby. (By the time of this writing they probably have had the baby.) He is a 39 year old that works for a pharmaceutical company, and is a big Stone Cold fan.

First McMahon announced there will be another round of McMahon's Million Dollar Mania next week on the special 3 hour edition of Raw.

Now it was time to give away the remaining $300,000. The winner is Frank Turbeville of Haddon Township, New Jersey. Turbeville is a 32 year old Air Force vet who plans to use the money to pay off bills, buy his fiancée a car, take a vacation, give his dad some money, and buy a better headstone for his mom.
