Hulkamania will be running wild on CMT.
What do you get when you mix Danny Bonaduce, Dennis Rodman, Dustin Diamond, Todd Bridges, Trishelle Cannatella with Butterbean, Tabitha Stephens (Erin Murphy), Tiffany, A Stallone, and Playboy Playmate Nikki Ziering?
No the answer is not a REALLY long police rap sheet.
Nor is the answer one wild party with plenty of alcohol, drugs, and sex. Although I bet you could talk most of the group into that one.
The correct answer is “Saturday Night’s Main Event – Amateur Edition.” Well that isn’t the name of the show, but it is a decent description of it. The show is “Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling”. It is CMT’s newest “reality competition” show. The country music channel has ordered eight episodes of the new show which will divide the ten “stars” into two teams that compete against one another. They will be judged in different team challenges, training scenarios (mastering wrestling moves, talking trash/working the audience), elimination matches, and more.
The judges will be Hogan of course, as well as wrestling promoter, announcer, creative genius, best-selling author, and successful executive producer Eric Bischoff, and finally The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart.
When it comes down to it only one will be named “Celebrity All-Star Wrestling Champion.” The show is set to be released this fall. I wonder why they couldn’t get Ty Murray, Johnny Fairplay, or Stephen Baldwin to be on this show, now that would be fun! I personally can’t wait for this show. Sure some of the participants status as “stars” is questionable, but it should still be interesting. Anyone who has seen anything that Screech has done since Saved By The Bell will surely be thrilled to see him get his butt kicked around a bit in the ring. Bonaduce is always a loose wing-nut, who knows what could happen with him in the squared circle. Nicki Ziering, Tiffany, and Erin Murphy in a Triple Threat match, what child of the 80s-90s wouldn’t love seeing that.

Danny Bonaduce was best known for portraying little Danny Partridge on the Partridge Family, that is until he grew up and had run-ins with the law for a number of reasons. He has appeared on other reality shows like Celebrity Boxing, Breaking Bonaduce, Celebrity Paranormal Project, and most recently I Know My Kid’s A Star. He was also in a couple episode of Bewitched with Erin Murphy, but neither of them probably even remember that.
Can Rodman rebound from a less than spectacular debut in wrestling years ago.
Dennis Rodman is one of the NBA’s most prolific rebounders ever. He is a two-time NBA All-Star, and was a member of five NBA champions during his career in which he played for Detroit, San Antonio, Chicago, the Lakers, and Dallas. He has also appeared in movies like Double Team with Jean Claude Van Damme, a season of TV’s Celebrity Mole, in which he won, an episode of TV’s 3rd Rock From The Sun in which he portrayed a character that was a major stretch, he was an alien. He has a slight advantage on the rest of the pack, as he has wrestled before. Back in WCW he was in a battle with Diamond Dallas Page. Although he wasn’t very good back then, so why would he be any better now?
If Screech thought Harvey was tough on Celebrity Fit Club he hasn't seen anything yet.
Dustin Diamond, many of you will know his as Screech from Save By The Bell. Since then though he has had a boxing match with Horshack on Celebrity boxing, and has been “the villain” on two seasons of Celebrity Fit Club. Not to mention his self-promoted “leaked” sex tape.
Whatcha gonna do when Willis runs wild on you?
Todd Bridges had some troubles with the law as he grew older. Most will remember him as Willis Jackson on Diff’rent Strokes. He too has been on Celebrity Boxing in a match against Vanilla Ice. He then had a guest-starring role in an episode of the Surreal Life which featured Ice, and Gary Coleman. He has also been on Fear Factor, and Skating with Celebrities, which made you ask “Whatcha thinking, Willis?” Actually, he was halfway decent on Skating, he tried really hard at least.
How will King Kong Butterbean do in the ring this time around?
Eric Esch, aka Butterbean is a former super heavyweight boxer, kickboxer, and mixed martial artist. He is 5 foot 11, and weighs in at about 416 pounds. He is a former IBA World Super-Heavyweight Champion, and WAA World Heavyweight champion. His professional fight record is 90 wins (63 by knockout), 17 losses, and 5 draws. He was also a five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time World Toughman Heavyweight Champion. (sorry, I had a Booker T moment there.) He also appeared in Jackass: The Movie and got to beat up Johnny Knoxville.
Trishelle Cannatella
Trishelle Cannatella is what some would call a “reality slut”, she really gets around! She was first on The Real World: Las Vegas, after that she moved on to all of the following: The Surreal Life, The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, The Gauntlet, Kill Reality, Fear Factor, Dr. Steve-O, Punk’d, and Battle of the Network Reality Stars.

Erin Murphy was Tabitha Stephens on the late 1960s – early 1970s show Bewitched. She hasn’t done much of anything in Hollywood since then, because she retired from acting shortly after that show. She did also appear in over 80 commercials, and is currently a motivational speaker.
Let's hope that Thunderlips doesn't have a flashback and mistake Frank for his brother, brother.
Frank Stallone is the younger brother of Sly. He is an award winning musician who has co-written songs with the Bee Gees, and has also acted in many films, included quite a few of his older brother’s. He is currently 57, which makes him the oldest on the show.
Tiffany's Mallamaniacs will need to come out and support her.
Tiffany had two number one songs, and three others in the top 40 in the late 1980s. She has posed in Playboy, and also appeared on VH-1’s Celebrity Fit Club. She was also the voice of Judy Jetson in the 1990s Jetsons: The Movie.
Nikki Ziering might make a good member of a new version of the Extreme Expose.
Nikki Ziering is best-known for being Playboy Playmate of the Month for September, 1997. She was also married to Beverly Hills 90210, and Dancing With the Stars star Ian Ziering. Nikki has also competed on “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here”, Celebrity Boot Camp, and the 2004 Lingerie Bowl.
