I have fallen a month and a half behind!

November 29th 2011 07:39
I have managed to slip way far behind in watching wrestling. So many other things going on. I will be catching up over the next week or two though. I am also working on my annual Wrestling Deaths post that lists all the wrestling related deaths of the past year. So check back in a week or so for some actual posts.

Sorry that I have not posted in nearly two months. Certainly doesn't seem that long. I have been busy setting up a few web sites. the biggest and most time consuming ones being www.AwakenYourScentses.com (A Scentsy Wickless Candle site) and www.BandJVariety.com (a store site with everything from electronics to toys.) Check them out and let me know what you think.

I am nearly caught up on a month of Raw, Smackdown, and Impact now (8 hours of DVR'd WWE left to go!), and I will resume regular posting on all my sites at some point this coming week.

Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth celebrate at Wrestlemania IV
Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth's Wrestlemania moment was also my Wrestlemania moment. I was at Wrestlemania IV to watch the Macho Man win the tournament and become the WWF Champion for the first time ever.

Sad news to report today. One of the greatest wrestlers of all-time has died this morning at around 10AM ET

Dr. Death Steve Williams passes away

January 12th 2010 20:32
For those who recall, there had been some news of a death happening. Perhaps one of the more known names. I wrote an article here when it comes to his battle with cancer and some thoughts. Some of you may have seen him wrestle at one point or another, but it is sad to hear about this death.

This is going to be a short blog about it because there really isn't a lot to be said. There's a lot to be said. Perhaps another blog in the future that could look at some more of the wrestling news in general mostly related to WWE or TNA. If there is a death, there could be a post on that.

Can ROH Survive with a TV Deal

November 30th 2009 23:10
ROH has become the number three promotion in the United States by default. They are on HDNet and have also had PPVs being that in order for it to grow, it had to go out to that level. In ways, it can be said that it has taken on the mold of the original ECW in that it would be a place where talent got developed and would eventually be picked by the two largest wrestling companies (WWE and TNA). The only problem is that not everybody gets HDNet and that is a shame.

The main question is going to be about surviving. It is unfortunate that ECW didn't have the money and couldn't make as much to survive. It might have still be around but then again, would there be an ROH? That's a good question. They never got advertised but that's just ECW. ROH, on the other hand, has an issue in that it is not a network that some people do not get. If you don't have that channel or not a follower of the promotion, then how are you going to be aware of it
