Dream Matches

September 19th 2008 16:34
At one point or another, you got some matches that you think would have been interesting but in most cases they never happen. It could be because of being too old or could be battered up and not able to wrestle anymore. I have many matches that would have been nice and in fact I put together a wrestling card mostly with dream matches and no titles on the line. The reason being is because there would be no need to have it involved.

Now, the only true way for these matches to actually happen in the first place would be through simulation and fantasy booking. The only reason is because you look at wrestlers in certain eras and you wonder about what would happen if Wrestler A fought Wrestler B. Take for example, Hulk Hogan vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin. This would draw viewers in my opinion and would be probably one of the most hyped matches of all-time. In their prime, it would be interesting to watch and as a fan, you may not care about the outcome, it could be the excitment.

Dream Matches

What I did was actually look back and try to pick out some guys to face each other. It didn't involve titles because again would they really be needed that much? I don't think so. For myself, I would watch this event and I would think it would be pretty good. I'm sure there are many other matches that would be huge and would be cool to see.

Now the question would be about who would commentate? Well, if I have to make a rather different team, it would be JR and Bobby Heenan. Take it like both are at their best and would probably be very interesting. We've seen Heenan do well with Gorilla Monsoon and Vince McMahon, why not JR. JR has done well with Jerry Lawler and of coursed teamed up with Mick Foley until he left and Tazz on occasion until he got moved to the Smackdown brand.

Coming up after this will be a look at can pro wrestling have competition again. Enjoy.

I would liked to have seen The Road Warriors against the Texas Outlaws, Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch. In their prime of course.
